Scan a plate from the top surface and trace the hidden maze machined from the back
A 10" × 10" steel plate (0.500" thick) has a maze machined from the back surface to 0.250" deep. Drag the transducer — where the maze is machined, the back-wall echo shifts to 0.250". Drop markers at thin spots to trace the maze, then reveal to check your work. Timer starts when you touch the transducer.
